Principles of Internal Auditing

This course provides students with a strong foundation in internal auditing, a profession central to strengthening governance, managing risks, and ensuring accountability within organizations. Delivered in partnership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Cayman Islands Chapter, students will gain practical knowledge of audit processes, risk management, and internal controls. The course emphasizes real-world application through case studies, discussions on emerging issues such as cybersecurity and AI, and guidance from practicing Cayman-based audit professionals.
