Programme Overview

Description

This programme is designed to develop the hospitality knowledge, safety awareness, professional skills and practical experience required for entry-level careers in the tourism, water sports and recreation industries.

Students will receive training in key areas such as diving, boating, hospitality and tourism, spa services, business etiquette, computer literacy and employability skills. The programme also includes a 120-hour internship, allowing students to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional workplace.

Transfer Credits

Students progressing to an Associate Degree programme may receive exemptions for applicable credits completed as part of this diploma.

Progression Requirements

Students seeking to matriculate into an Associate Degree programme after completing this diploma must first enrol as Pre-College students and complete one of the following options for each subject: MAT 002 – Numeracy Skills II or MAT 99 ENG 002 – Vocational English II or ENG 99 Note: The degree plan states ENG 99, rather than ENG 9.
