UCCI offers English classes to help speakers of other languages improve their English-language skills, achieve fluency and self-sufficiency, and become integrated into Cayman Islands society. The ESOL curriculum emphasizes college and career readiness skills. The following class levels are available

Beginner

Appropriate for individuals who understand only very simple phrases and can read and write only a few words in English.

Intermediate

Appropriate for individuals who already understand simple phrases and can express basic comprehension but are not yet fluent.

Advanced

Appropriate for individuals who can converse and have mastered basic grammar. The course focuses on conversation skills as well as reading and writing.
