The University College of the Cayman Islands (UCCI) launches two brand new early childhood programmes, a Diploma and an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education fall of last year. We are enrolling now for fall 2024 starts.

All learning is part-time in the evening to fit around working professionals.

Pathways to Success

Our program offers two pathways to qualification – an Early Childhood Diploma and an associate degree in early childhood. You can start with the Diploma and seamlessly transition to the associate degree, putting you on the fast track to becoming a proficient assistant teacher in either government or private early childhood centers.

Hands-On Experience

Both the Diploma and associate degree programs include practical Field Practicum experiences that allow you to apply your classroom learning in real-world settings. These experiences are invaluable for gaining insights into effective teaching methods and building solid relationships with young learners.
