Cake Decorating Level 2

Students will learn the importance of texture and the temperament of sugar paste, how to avoid cake catastrophes, ways to fix them and still keep your cake looking perfect.

You'll develop techniques practiced by professional cake decorators such as applying fondant, how to make different gum paste flowers and other fondant a gum paste decoration.

Cake Decorating Level 2

Course Requirements

This course is design for home bakers with the basic cake decorating skills and students who have already completed level 1 basic cake baking and decorating.

Final Assessment

Students will design and make a celebration cake of their choice to demonstrate different techniques learnt in the class.
