Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited tertiary institution.
- Minimum of two years bedside clinical nursing experience.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Eligibility for or current registration with the Cayman Islands Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Legal residency in the Cayman Islands.

- Familiarity with simulation-based education and competency-based instructional models.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.

- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of clinical examinations.
- Deliver laboratory-based instruction, including simulation and skills validation activities.
- Teach, supervise, and assess nursing competencies in accordance with established rubrics and programme standards.
- Provide direct clinical supervision and preceptorship of students within approved healthcare settings.
- Evaluate student clinical performance using evidence-based assessment methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety principles, ethical practice standards, and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with course coordinators and faculty to ensure alignment between didactic, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to student evaluation and clinical progression.
Compensation
CI$45.39 per contact hour
Contractual Conditions
- Part-time, adjunct appointment based on clinical and laboratory scheduling needs.
- Work may include daytime, evening, or weekend clinical supervision.
- Appointment is subject to UCCI policies and academic scheduling requirements.
