BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is designed to ensure that students acquire the relevant disciplinary knowledge and competencies appropriate in the various fields in business administration, In addition, this programme seeks to ensure that students acquire relevant business administration skills and are able to demonstrate them in business decision-making.

Programme Objectives for the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration:

Students will be able to explain the principal concepts, theories, and practices in and describe the interrelationships among the functional areas of business administration.

Students will be able to evaluate theory and practice across various functional disciplines in analysing business-related problems and challenges.

Students will be able to apply quantitative methods and tools to formulate business decisions.

Students will be able to present effective oral and written forms of business communication in a professional context. .

Students will be able to evaluate legal and ethical principles in accounting and apply them to organizational decision-making.

Students will be able to work effectively with diverse colleagues in team situations.

Students will be able to explain the major concepts and practices in information systems and demonstrate fluency in their use.

 

Programme Length

The programme is four years for full-time students. Years 1 & 2 are completed at the associate degree level.
