The Associate of Arts is more academic in nature than the Associate of Applied Science. Students who satisfy the requirements for this programme will normally have completed the equivalent of the first two years of study towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Students will be particularly well prepared to continue in the University College Bachelor’s programmes.

Programme Objectives for the Associate of Arts in Business Administration:
Students will be able to demonstrate skills in the principal functional areas of business administration.
Students will be able to produce and present effective oral and written forms of business communication.
Students will be able to use current technology and computer applications in business practices.
Students will complete the necessary coursework to continue their studies at the Bachelor’s level in business administration.
Programme Length
This programme is two years for full-time students.
Students who do not have CXC/GCE/IGCSE pass at the prescribed level in Accounting are strongly advised to take ACC 121 as their elective in the Summer session.
